It's a good bed especially for puppies who pee. For short hair dogs it's a bit difficult to clean hair off of it if you're in between washing. It's a tough bed, but the threads come loose easily, which allows the dog to get beyond the covering, and may cause digestive issues. Our border collie mix LOVES this bed. It is the perfect amount of fill, cozier than I anticipated. He sleeps in it all day long. for size, he is around 65lbs and an XL in a dog coat. We've had it for quite a few months and it's holding up really well. Haven't tried washing it but vacuum it regularly, seems quite sturdy. Very pleased he's so cozy!My little dog is very destructive. And he doesn't care for most dog beds. He LOVES this thing! And how he shows his love is he jumps into it and DIGS, HARD for a few mins before laying down. He has never damaged it in any way. It is DURABLE. It's also very cute and the filler doesn't "bunch" and effect the shape the way some cheaper dog beds do. I'm actually about to buy a 2nd for my 2nd dog, because my 2 dogs fight over this one now!:)good to use for my dog, as I can clean it all the time. not understand why people use the fur or fleece surface dog bed. But a bit expensive.Got two of these for our small dogs and they both use them. Reason for buying was that one dog is determined to tear the stuffing out of beds, and beds for little dogs are generally made very weak. So, these stand up to him and are still comfortable! Also these are easy to just hose off if they get gross. Worth it!I'm sure this bed is good for maybe small dogs. My dog was 6 months old when we got this bed and was able to completely destroy it in 3 days. However, I do have a boxer and they're avid chewers. I would recommend this bed for calm dogs that don't chew on anything. The colors are perfect for the room that it is in, it is easy to spot clean and I think it will be durable. Just wish they made these in a bigger size, my blue heeler/lab mix barely fits in it, but he likes it when he wants to curl up.My 100 pound dog loves the bed she likes to sleep curled up in the bed or sometimes just has half of herself in the bed. When she gets mad at not getting her way, she drags the bed around the house with her. But the purple matches my bedroom where she sleeps so I'm happy with it.Was disappointed that the dimensions were obviously measuring the whole thing, with big stuffed edges, rather than the actual base/bed area, so a bit small for my greyhound. If she is relaxing her head and legs hang over the edges. At night if she is curled up then she can fit OK and is nice for winter time to tuck her in with her blanket. Seems somewhat water resistant, and can wipe of muddy paw marks a few times before needing a wash. Difficult to wash as won't fit in machine, I used bucket of water outside to soak it and then squeeze out what I could and leave to dry in the sun. Overall, OK.Arrived two days earlier than expected. Came folded rather than vacuum packed in a clear plastic bag within a large postal bag. Upon unwrapping, it immediately took its shape without having to wait for the padding fibres to loft. The fabric is softer than expected but seems hard wearing. Colour is as depicted so really pleased that it’ll match my Dogs colour scheme of purple being called Merlin (the wizard).Having read the reviews I had the foresight to order the large size for our miniature Schnauzer. It’s perfect. The sides seem well structured and not floppy. There is plenty of padding to keep him snuggled & comfy. Upon telling Merlin it’s his bed he’s not been out of it since - one happy customer.I’ve given 4stars for ease of cleaning as I’ve not had to clean it yet, so unsure as yet. This bed is fantastic, really hard waring, and the colour means it doesn't stand out. My dogs have been using them for 3 months and they still look reasonably clean, have kept their shape well, and most importantly, there are no holes. All the beds we've tried in the past have been ripped to shreds within weeks, but these tough and look like they'll last. The only downside is that because the material is hardwiring, it's not that soft, the dogs don't mind, but you could always add a blanket. My 10 week old pup found this bed excellent to keep him amused. He chewed the corner and was so pleased with the amount of green stuffing he was able to extract. Yes he does have chew toys but they just are not as much fun as this. Then he found that by ripping the zip apart he could take the cushion out too. Oh joy (on his part, not mine). It might be waterproof, it s not puppy proof. It lasted 3 weeks.Wonderful Bed, ended up having to shove whole thing in the wash as my Ruby had and the bed soaked the whole puddle up before i could get the mop out.Very happy with how it came out, I didn't follow instructions, simply put whole thing in machine on a 60 degree wash (considering the accident) and it came out perfect. (I wouldn't recommend ignoring the wash instructions in normal circumstances)Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfy, sturdy washable bed.
